Barbara C. Warren, M.Ed., CCC-S,
Speech-Language Pathologist
Barbara Warren is a founding partner of Olmos Speech, Language,
and Learning Clinic, one of the first private clinics for the
practice of speech and language therapy in the San Antonio
area. She holds a masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
from Texas State University. Barbara is certified by the American
Speech- Language -Hearing Association and is licensed by the
state of Texas for the practice of speech and language therapy.
She is a certified provider of the Fast ForWord family of products.
Barbara has over 30 years of experience working with children
and adolescents with speech, language, and learning differences
both in school and private settings.

Barbara T. Sykes, M.S.,M.A.,CCC-S,
Speech-Language Pathologist, Reading Specialist
Barbara Sykes is an owner /partner of Olmos Speech, Language,
and Learning Clinic. Barbara has been a certified and
licensed speech and language therapist for over 30 years. She
received her masters degree in Communication Disorders from
Vanderbilt University and earned a second multi-disciplinary
masters from Trinity University in Reading, Linguistics, and
Psychology. Barbara has worked in public school, private school,
university, and private practice settings. She was among the
first private practitioners to become certified to provide
the Fast ForWord family of programs and has administered
them to many students as well as conducted workshops for
professionals. Barbara specializes in the diagnosis and treatment
of school age children with language based learning disabilities,
including dyslexia.

Phyllis Harrington, M.A., CCC-S, Speech-Language
Pathologist
Phyllis Harrington has worked in the field of speech language
pathology for nine years. She also holds a secondary teaching
certificate. Phyllis provides evaluations and therapy for
children and adults with language disorders, articulation
and phonological disorders, auditory processing disorders,
pragmatic communication disorders and reading and written
language learning disorders. She has experience in private
practice settings, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities
and schools. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence
in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language
and Hearing Association and is licensed to practice speech-language
pathology in the state of Texas. |

Earlene T. Paynter, Ph.D., F.A.S.L.H.A., Speech-Language
Pathologist
Earlene Paynter joined the staff of the Olmos Speech, Language
and Learning Clinic in 1996 and provides evaluations and speech-language
therapy services for preschoolers through adult with cleft
palate, articulation and phonological disorders, fluency disorders,
and voice disorders. She earned a doctorate degree in Speech
Pathology and Audiology, is a Fellow of the American Speech-Language
Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association,
and is licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the
State of Texas. She has 22 years experience as a faculty member
at state and private universities and 16 years of experience
providing speech-language therapy services in the public schools. Her
research findings have been published and presented in the
United States and Europe. Her research interests include: cleft
palate, articulation and phonology, and voice disorders.

Blair D. Toledo, M.S., CCC-S, Speech-Language
Pathologist
Blair D. Toledo is a native of San Antonio with over 13 years
of experience in the field of Speech Pathology. Blair completed
her undergraduate and graduate coursework at Baylor University.
Blair holds a Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology;
the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing
Association; and a Texas state license in the field of speech-language
pathology. Blair is skilled in working with the pediatric through
adult populations in assessing, diagnosing and treating speech
and language disorders. Blair’s knowledge of Spanish
allows her to work with Spanish dominant families. Blair has
experience working in acute care hospitals, rehabilitation
hospitals, long-term care facilities, both the private and
public school systems, Easter Seals, Early Childhood Intervention
Program, and home health care services.
